Making Music For Your Work

arthouse-media-sound-boothAs a Dunedin based record producer I often hear from musicians that “making records is so expensive”.

I agree it’s an expensive and time consuming process for three or so minutes of what may be ultimately ‘somebody’s art.’

So with that in mind as its New Zealand Music Month I thought I’d make an offer to budding producers , singers songwriters, musicians or bands.

If you are band or a solo artist I (for *projects booked and secured before May 31) will work for your hourly $ rate. My time worth your time. Let me clarify: if you or another waged band member can provide written proof to me of your hourly pay rate. Then I will offer you a day recording and production rate equal to that rate.

*This applies to all recording , editing or production work. Excludes mastering or voiceover services. Contact us on info@arthousemedia.co.nz for details

I appreciate tremendously hard work by Aubrey Victoria Shamel and Paul M Sammes on this project. It is because of their hard work I felt so inspired and wrote all new lyrics for the tunes, which accompany a story I have written for a musical movie. – Alex Koman
